X-ray inspection of boilers and pipe connectors
When inspecting welds using X-rays, either very flexible standard inspection systems can be deployed or specialized solutions that have been optimized for the corresponding application.
In the case of these very different applications, the use of flexible standard X-ray systems for these different applications means that besides having a large inspection envelope, material thicknesses of up to 50 mm of steel can be X-rayed while retaining a highly flexible manipulation, too.
When high throughput is called for, customized solutions that can be integrated ideally into production are often the first choice.
