The combined system and image-processing software Y.Image x600

Y.Image x600 is a modular software that unites inspection system control, image depiction, image analysis and functionalities such as automatic defect recognition (ADR) and computed tomography (CT) on one user interface. Y.HDR-Inspect technology along with “1-Click” detector calibration are integrated as well.

  • Control of all X-ray components on one graphical user interface (GUI)
  • Fast setup and management of fixed inspection positions
  • Transition from radioscopy to CT with one mouse-click
  • Integration of radioscopy and CT into programmed inspection
  • Automatic defect recognition (ADR)

The integrated radioscopy and CT inspection software Y.Image x600 is currently being used in the universal Y.Multiplex inspection system. All components such as the tube, detector and collimator are controlled with this software. Alongside X-ray inspection using manual manipulation, programmed inspection is also possible in which the individual inspection positions can be learned and managed via a clear-cut hierarchic structure.

Convenient tools are available for measuring and labeling the images. The management of configurable image sources allows a rapid switching between different detector settings. Alternating from radioscopy to preconfigured CT images can be performed with one mouse-click. In the case of programmed inspection, radioscopic and CT inspection positions can be combined as desired.

Automatic defect recognition (ADR) allows work to be conducted using filters preset via the software assistant on the one hand, or using filters trained via “OK” and “Not OK” images on the other. Even complex specifications from automobile manufacturers can be depicted easily and in a clearly structured manner.

Defects can be detected more easily and even quicker using Y.HDR-Inspect.
