Y.HDR enables rapid and assured statements about the spatial position of a defect and its three-dimensional characteristics as well as defect recognition in different material thicknesses without adjusting the X-ray parameters.
The new solution Y.HDR-Inspect designates a procedure involving “highly dynamic radioscopy”. In comparison to the image intensifiers often used until now, it offers distinctly improved image quality and detail detectability. Y.HDR-Inspect is a combination consisting of a digital flat-panel detector and Y.IMAGE2500-D/3500 software. Especially for visual X-ray inspection in motion it offers numerous advantages such as
Time-consuming masking out via collimators is avoided and there is no resetting of X-ray parameters in the case of inspection items with large differences in material thicknesses.
