You obtain a volumetric representation of the item to be inspected as a result of Computed Tomography. Both the composition of the materials' inner and outer structures and the geometric dimensions of the item to be inspected are now recognizable.

The data gained at one time using CT is now available to software programs for various tasks in the inspection, measurement and form-registration sectors.
