Y.IMAGE 2500i and Y.IMAGE 2500i-R are PC based digital imaging systems for image enhancement and archiving, especially tailored for radioscopic images generated by Image Intensifiers. These digital imaging systems include a wide range of image processing functions and are suited equally well for industrial inspection and development laboratories.
The digital imaging systems Y.IMAGE 2500i and Y.IMAGE 2500i-R:
- The digital imaging solutions consists of hardware and software with MS Windows XP operating system, for digitizing the analog video signal of the image intensifier for further processing.
- Fast introduction and easy handling by addressing the PC monitor menu screens in Windows style
- Efficient operation using keyboard function keys to run predefined macros.
- Fast analysis of image details by using the moving magnification capability
For digital image enhancement the contrast of the image may be optimized to the inspection task by using Input / Output LUT, or just by drawing a rectangle on the relevant part of the digital image. Up to 15 processed images are displayed as MDI (Multiple Document Interface) windows in addition to the live image.
The digital imaging system Y.IMAGE 2500i-R offers in addition to Y.IMAGE 2500i the possibility of presenting a reference image in a window placed directly beside the window with the image of the part currently under inspection. With this digital imaging system it is therefor possible that different functions like the moving magnification are processed as well on the reference image as on the current image. Another possibility is the presentation of testing specifications in the windows for the reference-image.
