The digital imaging system Y.IMAGE 4500, especially designed as a semi-automatic application for radioscopic inspection of castings and weld seams, supports inspector detection of gas holes, cracks and porosities.
Inspection speed will be dramatically increased and simplified with this digital imaging system, because the image generated by a special algorithm lets you identify potential flaws at first glance. A time intensive “teaching” of the digital imaging system, necessary for fully automatic defect recognition (ADR), is omitted using Y.IMAGE 4500.
The inspection becomes more repeatable since the size of the potential flaws is indicated and the decision does not depend solely on the subjective impression of the operator. If you want to recognize regular structures indicated as potential flaws, the digital imaging system Y.Image 4500 allows you to do this. Just toggle between the filtered image and the radioscopic image.
