The high energy and the high dose rates of the 320kV (MG325) resp. 450kV (MG452) bipolar X-ray systems with a power up to 4.5 kW can be used for a wide variety of industrial applications ranging from light alloys and thin walled materials of low density to thick walled materials of high density as e.g. 115 mm iron.
The bipolar 40 kHz X-ray systems feature a very high output stability, a precise energy setting and an extreme fast change over to any selected new value.
Any fluctuation or deviation of set values are controlled and corrected within microseconds. These features make the X-ray system an excellent candidate not only for radiographic and radioscopic applications but also for scanning methods like computertomography and even in the field of dosimetry. In addition these features reduce inspection times considerably, an important economical aspect.
The wide range of use of the X-ray system calls for an universal easy to use control system realized in the MGC41. The set-up modes are menudriven. All indications, operating mode and fault diagnosis of internal or external errors are displayed in clear text with the comfort of being able to choose optional languages. Additional error indications are given by numerical codes.
All components of the X-ray systems are protected against the influence of dust and water. H.V Generators and Power supplies meet the requirements of IP54.
