Founded in spring 1998, retroactive October 1st 1997, YXLON International is the direct successor to Andrex (Denmark), Philips Industrial X-Ray (Germany) and LumenX (USA/Ohio) and today belongs to the COMET group. With a subsidiary in Japan, two representative offices in China and a tight net of representatives, YXLON International today offers X-ray and CT (Computed Tomography) non-destructive testing systems and services all over the world.

Our product catalog covers the whole X-ray field from portable X-ray systems designed for on-the-field applications over standardized, modular X-ray and CT solutions to complex, fully-automated customized X-ray and CT systems designed to fit the specific application. In addition, we offer installation, training, maintenance and remote-diagnostics on up to 24h basis.

Company philosophy
The business philosophy – Customer Satisfaction and Quality – is present in the daily work of all employees. This was impressively proved during the successful ISO 9001:2000 audit in January 1999. ISO is a world wide standard for quality assurance in development, manufacturing and sales of industrial products.
Especially the big customers like car manufacturers or aircraft builders have strict requirements in this respect. YXLON International has once again taken a leading roll with respect to non-destructive materials testing (NDT) and managed being the first company to get approved and to achieve certification in accordance with the new process-oriented standard. With a certain pride the staff took the statements of the auditor: “I did not meet anybody in the YXLON organisation who does not stand behind the philosophy of Total Quality. One senses the motivation and the engagement for improvements everywhere.”
This is also supported by the direct engagement from the top level management and other superiors via “management-by-walking” and a flat structure of the organisation.
Of course, the main goal of YXLON International is to make good and healthy business by careful management. Dr. Joseph Kosanetzky says: “Even though Shareholder Value is a popular issue, we do not deny that we are working with the goal of making some profit. Only with sufficient earnings we will stay attractive for our investors, to secure our expansion and future. We owe this to our employees and the security of their working places.”
