The Y.Access 100 is a X-ray inspection system with overhead crane scanning manipulator for radiation shielded rooms.
The X-ray inspection system is based on a versatile, scanning manipulator functioning as an overhead crane with one or two belt suspension systems on a transverse carrier. The single version is for radiography while the dual version is for fluoroscopy. The X-ray tube head and Image Intensifier (Image Intensifier based detector) or a flat panel detector are mounted on the two belt suspension systems with a variable FFD. The X-ray tube head and Image Intensifier / flat panel detector are permanently aligned and will move parallel using the same joystick when scanning vertically in the horizontal as well as when tilted. Optionally the dual belt suspensions can be equipped with motorized tilt of the detector and source.
